Self-Contained Van Parking
Sky View Ridge offers three quiet ridge-top sites for self-contained Class B vans and small self-contained travel vehicles. These are simple open-sky sites with long ridge views, peaceful surroundings, water available for filling tanks, electric access for charging batteries, and fast, reliable internet. This is not a full-hookup RV campground. It is a peaceful ridge stay for travelers who arrive self-contained and value simplicity, quiet, and sky.
Van Site Rates:
Sunday-Thursday: $45/night
Friday-Saturday: $55/night
Two-night weekend minimum
Included with your Stay:
- Designated dry van site
- Beautiful open ridge views
- Fast, reliable internet
- Water available for filling tanks
- Electric available for charging batteries
- Emergency toilet access if needed
- Peaceful setting close to Viroqua and Driftless-area exploring
Please Note:
- No sewer hookup
- No showers provided
- No full bathroom facilities
- No tent camping
- No generators during quiet hours
- Grey and black water must be emptied off-site
- Dump station available at the county park about 3 miles away
- Guests should arrive fully self-contained

Each cabin sleeps up to two adults.
All stays are arranged directly by email, phone, or text.
Cancellation Policy:
All reservations are final and non-refundable.
Sky View Ridge is small, seasonal, and has very limited availability, so cancellations affect us directly.
When possible, we may offer a one-time date change within the same season, depending on availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Refunds are not available for weather, illness, travel delays, early departures, late arrivals, or changes in personal plans.
Guests may wish to consider travel insurance for added protection.

Access: Your cabin key is located in a lockbox next to your cabin door.
Parking: Guest parking is located directly behind each cabin.

- No smoking inside the cabin or near open windows
- No pets allowed inside the cabins
Self Contained Guest Requirements
For guests staying in vans or self-contained vehicles:
- Self-contained vehicles only
- No ground dumping of any kind
- Pack in / Pack out – please remove all belongings and waste
Quiet & Courtesy

- No generators during quiet hours
- Keep music and voices low to respect other guests

Sky View Ridge is located just outside Viroqua, in the rolling hills of Southwest Wisconsin’s Driftless Region. We sit on a quiet ridge with long valley views, big sky sunsets, and star-heavy nights.
You’ll feel away from everything, while still being just minutes from town.
We are creating a small collection of thoughtfully placed ridge-top cabins under the umbrella of Viroqua Guest Cabins.
Our first two cabins are:

- The James
Each cabin is private, simple, and designed for rest, connection, and sky-gazing.

Sky View Ridge is intentionally small and quiet.
This is not a resort.

If you’re looking for nightlife, this probably isn’t your place.

Each cabin comfortably accommodates two adults. This keeps the energy intimate and the land respected.
At this time, we are not allowing pets. We love animals, but we are protecting the land, wildlife, and the comfort of all guests.
Van guests traveling with pets are allowed.
Cabins include simple kitchenettes suitable for light cooking. Viroqua also offers wonderful local dining and co-op options just a short drive away.

This is a place for presence.
Sky View Ridge operates seasonally. We close during the winter months and reopen in spring.
